Hans Raj has a well-stocked library. The Central Library comprises of four sections:
Main library, Department Libraries and the Periodical and Textbook sections.

Magazine
The college issues every year its magazine 'HANS', which includes contribution from students and staff member. It has three sections: Hindi, English, and Sanskrit.

Seminars and Societies
The college promotes extra-curricular activities through subject seminar and other societies viz.debating society, drama society, fine arts society etc. The Student's Union plays an important role by organizing the Annual College Festival.

The college National Service Scheme develops a sense of social responsibility in the students through a variety of social welfare and development activities such as adult literacy, voluntary hospital service, and child welfare and relief programme.
